Terms and Conditions for Vehicle Booking with Langdale Travel

 

Booking and Payment:

1.1. To secure your vehicle reservation, Langdale Travel may request full payment upfront at the time of booking. 

1.2. The full payment is refundable if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking time. 

 

Driver's Arrival and Waiting Time: 

2.1. Upon arrival at the designated pickup location, the driver will notify the customer via text message within 5 minutes. 

2.2. The driver will wait for a maximum of 5 additional minutes from the time of notifying the customer. 

2.3. If the customer fails to meet the driver within the specified waiting time, the driver may have to leave, and no refund will be given.

 

Customer Responsibility: 

3.1. It is the customer's responsibility to be present at the pickup location at the agreed-upon time. 

3.2. The customer should ensure they provide accurate and reachable contact information for communication purposes.

 

Changes and Cancellations: 

4.1. Any changes or cancellations to the booking must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time to be eligible for a refund. 

4.2. In case of changes or cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled booking time, the refund policy may not apply.

 

Safety and Conduct: 

5.1. Customers are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during the vehicle service. 

5.2. Any damages caused to the vehicle due to the customer's misconduct will be the customer's responsibility. 

5.3. Langdale Travel reserves the right to refuse service or terminate the booking without refund in the event of abusive behaviour towards our staff or drivers. Abuse will not be tolerated and will be dealt with accordingly.

 

Delays and Force Majeure: 

6.1. Langdale Travel shall not be held responsible for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.

6.2. Force majeure events may include, but are not limited to, traffic conditions, accidents, adverse weather conditions, or any government-imposed restrictions.

 

Liability: 

7.1. Langdale Travel will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, including loss of belongings or missed appointments, resulting from the use of our vehicle services.

 

Privacy: 

8.1. Langdale Travel will handle customer data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy policy.

 

By booking a vehicle with Langdale Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions.
