Booking & General Info

  • Do I need to book in advance?

    • We recommend pre-booking for airport transfers, hospital appointments, or late-night pickups to guarantee availability.

    • We do our best to accommodate "on-the-spot" local calls in Market Weighton and surrounding areas whenever possible.

  • Are you a licensed and insured firm?

    • Yes, we are fully licensed by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

    • Our drivers are professionally vetted (DBS checked) and our vehicles undergo regular safety inspections.

​

  • Do you accept dogs in the vehicle?

    • Please contact us to discuss transporting your dog(s), as this is assessed on a case by case basis depending on the number of passengers and the number and size of the dog(s). 

    • There are no extra charges for transporting dogs however if the vehicle is soiled there may be an additional fee.

Airport & Long-Distance Travel

  • Which airports do you cover?

    • We provide fixed-rate transfers to all major UK airports.

    • We also offer transfers to major rail hubs including York, Hull, and Doncaster.

  • What happens if my flight is delayed?

    • We monitor live flight data using your flight number and allow time for minor delays for each airport transfer.

    • In the unlikely event of a significant delay, if we are unable to fulfil the transfer at the modified time, we may have to offer an alternative time or see if this can be covered by another provider.

    • Any extra charges made by the alternative  provider is payable by the customer.

  • Do you offer "Meet and Greet" services?

    • Yes, our driver can meet you inside the terminal with a "Langdale Travel" sign and assist you with your luggage if this has been arranged.

Payments & Vehicles

​

  • How many passengers can you carry?

    • Our fleet features a modern, air-conditioned 6-seater vehicle.

    • Please specify your passenger count and luggage amount when booking.

    • For large parties and groups, we work closely with other local firms and may be able to offer multiple vehicles depending on availability.

  • How can I pay for my journey?

    • Cash

    • Contactless / Credit / Debit Cards (available in the vehicle)

    • BACS / Invoiced payments (for corporate or pre-booked accounts)

  • Can I set up a corporate or regular account?

    • Yes, we welcome enquiries for regular contract work, staff transport, or recurring school runs. Contact us to discuss account terms.

Local Service Area

​

  • Do you pick up from remote villages?

    • Absolutely. We serve Market Weighton, outlying farms, and smaller villages across the East Riding.

    • If there is a road to it, we’ll get there.
